Celebrating Sacrifice and Service

At BobbysValentines.org, we strive to create meaningful connections between the community and our veterans. Through our heartfelt Valentines, we honor their service, ensuring that their stories and contributions are remembered each Valentine’s Day.

Our initiative has successfully engaged through several Veteran organizations and VA Hospitals to celebrate the lives of veterans, creating lasting memories and a strong sense of appreciation for those who serve our nation, particularly on Valentine’s Day.

Bobbysvalentines has been providing a remembrance on Valentines Day for 15 years beginning with sending boxes to troops deployed to our current program focusing more on local Veterans through Veteran organizations, outreach centers and VA Hospitals.

The Veteran who stopped by after opening his Valentines goody bag and was clutching the homemade Valentine’s card from a schoolchild to his chest and smiling said he was ‘hanging this on his refrigerator.’

The young Veteran who decided to go sign up to become a VA Hospital volunteer after receiving his Valentine and speaking with us a bit…..

The volunteer group who heard about Bobbysvalentines from a news article and wanted to send cards for the Veterans —but time was short this year, so decided to participate next year and instead, since they were ‘inspired,’ brought their homemade Valentines to the nursing home down the street….
